I’m Metin Demirkan Saldırış

I’ve navigated the path of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics through a prestigious dual diploma program at Middle East Technical University (METU) and State University of New York at Binghamton, graduating at the top of my class with a scholarship from METU for achieving the highest GPA.

My professional journey began at a tourism startup, where I worked as a Business Analyst. I played a crucial part in shaping early-stage strategies and solutions, which strengthened my analytical thinking and built a strong foundation for the roles that followed.

My journey continued at a logistics company, first as a Logistics Coordinator, later stepping into the role of Marketing Director. I managed complex supply chain operations and went on to build the company’s marketing department from the ground up, leading brand strategy and digital growth initiatives.

Currently, I’m part of a global tourism company operating across 4 continents and 12 countries. In my role, I monitor and report on sales, revenue, and expense data tied to hundreds of thousands of tourists. I contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting by transforming large-scale operational data into strategic insights. I also work closely with cross-functional teams to shape mobile application improvements based on user behavior and business needs.

What drives me? A passion for understanding the story behind the data—and using it to guide smarter decisions. Whether it’s machine learning, data visualization, or market analysis, I focus on delivering insights that lead to real results. Staying ahead of trends in digital marketing and analytics is part of my day-to-day mindset.

Outside of work, I pursue Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a discipline that reflects my approach to challenges – strategic, resilient, and always ready to adapt.
